Louisiana’s Mark Smith Maintains Lead after Day 2 at Bassmaster Central Open

(Nov. 06, 2009) The first day of competition at the final 2009 Bassmaster Central Open was easy for Mark Smith of West Monroe, La., as the pro easily culled up on one stretch of water on Louisiana’s Atchafalaya Basin. While the bite was a lot more difficult Friday, the tournament front-runner managed 11 pounds, 11 ounces to maintain his lead heading into the final day.
